Match winning bonuses bought school requirements for Betpawa Futsal Super league best young player of the season Park FC complete a historical treble when they beat Kisenyi 7-5 on Saturday June 8th.

Young star Brian Olwa was named the best young player of Betpawa Futsal Super League. Despite winning the award on the awarding ceremony held at Old Kampala Futsal Arena.

The Edgar’s youth program player disclosed more benefits apart from the awards. Olwa told MS News Uganda how Betpawa money helped him and his parents in lightening his schooling. “I am happy that I have won this award, it has been hard working and positive guidance from my coach and other team bosses.

I have also to thank Betpawa for this award and I have to thank them more, it was Betpawa money that helped me getting School requirements through match winning bonuses” Olwa who studies at St Andrew Kagwa Gombe on a football bursary said.

Meanwhile, Park FC put hands on Betpawa Futsal Super League at the fresh excitement of beating Kisenyi FC 7-5 as they win the third trophy for the season.

Park FC won the Uganda Cup in February, adding on Betpawa Super League in May and completed the treble today, Saturday June 8th 2024. In the game which gave them a treble was in shape of real super cup as the league champions took 2 goal lead advantage through Shafiq Mulangira and Michael Abura but Marvin Ategeka through thunder bullet beaten Goalkeeper Brian Drilleba who was doing everything to keep Park FC in the lead with remarkable saves including saving Richard Mutumba’s penalty was beaten twice as Kisenyi FC equalised through ILYAS Omran who converted from a penalty which was awarded following Abura’s hand in the goal ark and Abdallah Ahmed who later equalised before netting his second of the day which gave Kisenya the lead with a 3-2 score line and then Mutumba Richard.

Park FC continued placing their opponents util they added to their score sheet through Samuel Kayongo’s brace and Derrick Walugembe that leveled it on 5-5 before Park regained the charge through Abbas Muluya and then Enock Walusibi who extended the lead to two goals that sealed game off at 7-5 for Park FC to becomes champions.
