As Buwekula looking to boss around this year’s Masaza Cup tournament over the 18 Participating teams.
The Mubende based county announced the squad which was built on hand pick of last season star performers.
The squad was unveiled on Sunday June 23rd at National teacher College Mubende to hundreds of Buwekula county supporters.
Last Season’s top, Yusuf Mukwana who finished with 7 goals despite stopping in group stage was brought in from Kyaggwe.
Buwekula also recruited Midfield commanders in the names of Amur Munogera and Herbert Atwine from defending Champions Bulemeezi as the three being the biggest signings of the side.
On them Buwekula added Jimmy Kalema Kiwemmere from Mawokota, James Kayemba from Ssingo, Ronnie Ziraba from Busiro and Aniku Fahad from Gomba to the list of remarkable new comers.
With the squad looking full of incoming stars Buwekula also retained skillful Johnson Kabagambe and other star players like Calvin Pariyo, Anest Ankunda and Aniku Brian.
It is squad deserving to be dubbed Masaza Cup Galacticals under Coach Felix Ssekabuza Kawooya Buwekula community indicated to only expecting the first trophy.
Team Manager Haji Rajab Ssebulime affirmed the fans “We have done everything, lost in finals and after failed occasions this time round we choose more right things, at first we looked for winning coaches and secured them, another was to go and such for the best players and am sure the players we have are the best”
Former team chairman Deo Masembe also admitted that the team has been improved from what he left
“always we have been having good coaches but not winners now it is different to have 3 coaches who have the Masaza Cup and Felix won the Schools Championship it is such a competitive trophy,
Now it is up to us the people of Buwekula to lay enough support for them”
