Uganda badminton association have been boosted with 30 million shilling from plascon, colour your world to organise this year’s Uganda International Para Badminton Championship which will start from 1,July and climax on 7,July at Mtn arena, Lugogo.
At the press conference held today morning at plascon company headquarters, alongside Port bell road, Daniel Kayongo from plascon when addressing the press, he said that they will continue supporting Uganda sports ,so we decided to inject 30 million shilling in this year’s Uganda International Para Badminton Championship which will be in kind and cash but more in kind like branding the arena, providing T-Shirts , equipments and more others.
Plascon paints also sponsor Masaza tournament, She Cranes among others.
According to Simon Mugabi, the ceo of Uganda Badminton Association said that this sponsorship will help us to organise a good tournament.
Participants from abroad countries are expected to participate and no prize money will be given to excellent performers ,according to Simon Mugabi.
