Butambala 1-0 Buddu

Butambala county outshined Buddu by 1-0 and Coach Mustafa Kayinda promises to make more surprises.

The team, Butambala got the advantage against visitors, Buddu in the first period of the game when Kato Yusuf converted a penalty following a foul on Charles Ssekandi in forbidden area of Buddu by Shafiq Lubega to give the Katambala Sulaiman Magala’s boys the lead at home in Kibibi which later became the winner when the favourites failed to penetrate the concrete wall constructed in front of the opponent’s goal line that enabled Butambala to a deserved win.

For the entire last period of the game Buddu was on front foot but Butambala only looked to defend their goal. Goalkeeper Musa Obuya was spot on along with his entire defence.
Obuya had a fantastic save over Kayondo Joseph’s free kick curling in from right flank.
