The Futsal Association Uganda (FAU) has unveiled its 2024/25 Competition Calendar, outlining all events and activities for the upcoming season.
In addition to the betPawa Futsal Super League, Futsal Uganda Cup, and Futsal Super Cup, FAU has introduced the U14 Futsal League to promote youth development and provide a platform for them to showcase their talent.
The betPawa FSL season kicked off on July 1, 2024, with a meeting between FSL clubs and FAU. The 2024/25 draft fixtures for the betPawa FSL will be released on August 1, 2024, ahead of the league’s start on September 27, 2024.
The inaugural U17 Futsal League is scheduled to begin on December 20, 2024, while the Futsal Uganda Cup will commence on February 7, 2025.
The season will culminate with the Futsal Super Cup on June 13, 2025, a showdown between the Futsal Super League champions and the Futsal Uganda Cup winner.
It is worthy to note that FAU has confirmed that the transfer window officially opened July 1 and will close on Saturday, September 21st, 2024
