SC Villa partner Linglong Tire gives out two electric cars in the fight against air pollution the country

As the government working hard to control environment conditions, air pollution is one of the hardest condition to control.

With the positive effect the Under umbrella of Mandela group of Companies Linglong product falling bellow City tyres brand has given a hand in the fight against air pollution.

The promotion which got activated a year age saw Johnbosco Mugisha and Florence winning in the first draw held on Wednesday July 24 at Kira road branch.

Both winners bought Linglong tyres from Nakawa branch during the process of the promotion.

The draws was conducted by former Vision group CEO Robert Kabushenga and former FMU president Dusmas Okee with the representatives from Linglong and Adnoc lubricant making the audience.

After picking Mugisha’s coupon, Mr. Robert Kabushenga contacted the winner who happened to be working at Uweso nearby draws venue.

At the delivery of the exciting news Mugisha sounded shocked and in disbelief but later he got convinced to come at the draws venue where he shared his excitement, “When I received the call with this Kampala, I couldn’t believe, It is the Loughs in behind which triggered my believe,I asked my Son to accompany me in case of anything bad he reports back home”

I can’t believe I bought tyres to avoid accident not knowing that it can bring this joyful moment”

Disbelief was the same way to second winner Florence who was picked by Dusmas Okee and contacted the winner to find that she was in Mbale though she refused to say her full name.

While talking about the promotion Mandela group of companies chief engineer Richard Wandawa said, “We are spending much on buying carbon dioxide through buying and burning much fuel, but with this WULING car we can stop that, it is 100% electric, the only challenge which can face with them is only roads, but the government of Uganda is working by looking from far to bring here a factory to build electric cars and I am sure roads will get improve”

Winners are expected to collect their cars on Friday July 26 from City tyres head offices located in Industrial area along sixth Street.
