KISUBI WAS TOO GOOD FOR THE 4TH COOPERATE WOODBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

The fourth edition of the cooperate woodball championship climaxed on Sunday August 4 at Makerere university rugby ground with Kisubi cooperate and University of Kisubi won men and women team event categories.

The event which was a one day event, involved clubs like ministry of public service ,Zoe ,Kisubi cooperate and University of Kisubi which took part on the day.

Nabwire Deborah and Patience Ainembabazi , Niwenyesiga Alex and Kyalisima Humphrey and Fred Turyakira and Patience Tusubira of ministry of public service  performed excellent after grabbing medals from the Championship.

The results of the fourth cooperate were as follows;

Men’s doubles category

1-Kalunga Sylvester and Ssente za Aloyisius of Unik with 44 strokes.

2-Enabu Erick and Anauwe Wiliam of UNEB with 49 strokes

3- Niwenyesiga Alex and Kyalisima Humphrey of MOPS with 54 strokes

Women doubles.

1-Nabwire Debroah and Patience Ainembabazi of MOPS  with 49 strokes

2-Balemesa Justine and Ikiring Nightrose of UNEB with 52 strokes

3-Namugerwa Peninah and Nakamya Leony of UNIK with 54 strokes

Mixed

1-Masiga Jackson and Babirye Nalwoga of UNIK with 49 strokes

2-Fred Turyakira and Patience Tusubira of MOPS  with 52 strokes

3-Charles Lubwama and Victoria Nampala of New Vision with 52 strokes

Men senior cooperate

1-Masiga Jackson of Kisubi with 95 strokes

2-Guumikiriza Ronald of Zoe with 96 strokes

3-Makoha Micheal

Ladies Senior cooperate

1-Babirye Nalwoga of UNIK with 91 strokes

2-Patience Ainembabazi of MOPS with 92 strokes

3-Teddy Nassuna of Kisubi with 92 strokes
