In the quest to improve Masaza Cup media reporting, media officers undergone training

Being a lion brand in Ugandan football managing to attract a couple of sponsors, Buganda is still setting up avenues to create more growth to the  competition.

Ahead of the Masaza Cup 2024 group stage second round which is due to take off tomorrow Saturday August 10, 2024, a media officers workshop came in contention to see the championship reporting has a better shape.

The workshop took place on Friday 9 August 2024 morning at Bulange with all the 18 county teams represented at least by one media person.

The Workshop had FUFA communication director Ahmed Hussein as constructor, with Masaza cup organising committee media officer Faridah Bongole also had a role to submit at the workshop.

At the end of his session, Ahmed stated , “After this workshop we expect to see reporting quality improvement, we have gave them more insights on to improve the information flow”

The two catered for the morning session while more two facilitators in Julius Mutebi Bazeketta a CAF media internee in the area of photography and Buganda Sports officer Hanington Musoke catering for the noon session.

At the beginning of the workshop was graced by Masaza cup organising committee chairperson and in his remarks said 

 “As we look to grow the Masaza cup brand and to see that communication takes the lion stake that is how we came up with an idea to ground how the quality of communication can be improved”
