The Woodball League climaxed today, Saturday ,14,September at Makerere University Rugby ground .
The climaxed saw ministry of public services winning the ladies title for the second time consecutive while Prisons winning the men’s title third times in a row .
After winning the ladies title, Fred Turyakira ,an official and a player from ministry of public services puts togetherness and hard working which has enabled them to overcome their opponents.
Fred, went on to say that next year, they will put more emphasis on men’s team which came last and hope they will perform better next year.
Joyce Nalubega from ministry of public services was the most valuable lady player in this year’s League.
Paul Mark Kayongo, the Woodball president said though they experienced some challenges but thanks to League Chairman Semakula Mukiibi who have ensured that the league goes well and special thanks goes to our good teams for their participation.
