Kyadondo hosts Buddu in the first leg of Masaza cup semi final at Wankulukuku on 6 October 2024.

It is going to be the first Kyadondo’s game at Wankulukuku having played the past games at Homesdalen Gayaza and Kiwenda.

At the last stage Kyado do eliminated Busujju following home and away 1-0 win while Buddu eliminated Kabua 3-1 on aggregate.

Kyadondo under Medi Nyanzi operating around Isaac Ssenyunja with Dathan Mubira giving a different dimension going.

Defensive wise Kyadondo works a lot on goal keeping department which has managed 3 man of the match accolades in 12 games of the season.

Buddu is coached by Simon Dungu Dunga and it has been a team rising in performance with players like Mike Weraga, Joseph Kayondo and Malida Kuteesa keeps growing in form.

The fixture comes in on back of anti Sporting acts which has so far happen on two occasions out of the last 3 meeting.

The last time Buddu and Kyadondo faced at Knock out, was a quarter final and the tie saw only one leg won by Buddu 2-1 before Kyadondo’s refusal to honour the return leg to send Buddu to semifinals.

Later the teams met in groups of this year’s campaign where Buddu won 1-0 in Masaka while the reverse game died in the 84th minute at 1-1 and Buddy were later awarded maximum points

Meanwhile in other semifinal Kyagwa shall host the first leg against Buwekula at Mukono Bishops SS.

Like Semi one also both team played through the same group with both games ended in square the same result in the prior meetings back in 2023
