FUFA CEO to grace the grand opening of the Ham End of the football tournament.

FUFA Chief Executive officer Edgar Watson is expected to grace the opening ceremony of Ham End of years football tournament.

Committed talent developing well wisher Ham Ntambi has today, Wednesday 16 October 2024 launched a platform which give participating chance to football talented youth.

The Launch was held in hey hours in Kampala at Old Namirembe Bakuli.

On the event the tournament proprietor Ham Ntambi confirmed that the Chief Executive officer at FUFA also former Uganda Cranes captain Edgar Watson to grace the opening as Chief guest.

“Since we are among to develop football talents it is a great Honour the FUFA CEO shall be our Chief guest, we are in football and we believe that we must be working closely to FUFA”

The tournament which is set for its first edition has seen 16 teams already registered to participate as it set to kick off on Sunday 20th October 2024 in Bujuuko along Ssentema Road.

The opening game shall be played between Excel Sure Kyebando Nansana and Bujuuko Football club

The tournament will go on to climax on 1st January 2025 with winners entitled for great prizes.

At the moment with few days remaining tournament Secretary Robert Lubega while briefing the press at Launch he confirmed that the registration is still open for teams from all over Uganda.

“We have 16 teams so far but our target is 32, despite of that we are ready to go though teams can still make registration, all teams from Uganda are allowed “

All participating team are allowed to have 5 top flight players included in the squad of 25 players registered along with 7 team officials.

The tournament is sponsored by Ham Islamic Primary school Bujuuko, Ham Sports agency, Ham Motors Bakuli, Ham Soccer academy and team Subaru garage.
