Police in Masaka has arrested Stella Namwanje who surfaced in a video feeding baby with faeces and forcing the child to drink her urine.
According to Namwanje, a 34 year old resident of Bunyonyi Village, Nyendo sub county in Masaka city, says she has no idea what pushed her into doing such an evil act to an innocent child. “The child’s mother is my friend, I keep asking myself why I did that.” She said.
The child’s mother Olivia Mbabazi expressed her disappointment and shock at Namwanje’s actions since
she has always left her child with her. “I never imagined she could do such a thing because she was always with my child.”
It should be noted that Nwamwanje is a sex worker in Nyendo and a mother of three whose strange
behavior has always shocked the owner of the lodge where she operates from.
“Investigations are underway to determine the motives behind Namwanje’s actions” said Twaha Kasirye
Masaka’s police spokesperson.
The incident happened 3 weeks ago and the community residents are still outraged by Namwanje’s
actions and therefore seek that the child gets justice.
“We can’t believe she did this, we request the government to take serious action against her for this evil
act.” They said.
