Former African player of year and world, Ballon dor contestant, Cameron striker Samuel Eto’o Fils has retired from active football.
The 38 year old goal poacher has traded his great full football talent for 22 years of professional career.
The most decorated footballer in Africa, played for 13 clubs including Real Madrid ,Barcelona, Inter Milan, Chelsea, Anzi Machakara, Fenerbahce, Real Malloca among others.
During his 21 year European career, Eto’o won 4 UEFA champions league trophies with three clubs, 3 La liga, Fifa club world cup, 1 Italian Serie A, 2 African cup of Nations with Cameron and 1 olympic football trophy among others.
Eto’o was voted African football player of the year for 4 times.
Fils participated in 4 world cup tournaments, 6 African cup of Nations tournaments, he also took part in 3 olympics and confederations cup as well.
