Federation of Uganda Football Associations Competition Disciplinary committee punishes Proline Football Club for not honoring the Uganda Premier League fixture against SC Villa which was scheduled take place on Saturday 7th September 2019 at Lugogo.
Praline FC wrote a letter to Uganda premier league indicating that they had some their players on the Uganda Cranes squad that travelled to for an international friendly match so, they were not in position to stage team for that league game with out theses players but UPL responded to formerly insisting that the game was there, Proline continued with their decision and didn’t play.
UPL sent the matters to FUFA (CDP) to look into it, thing which they didn’t and here after are the decisions taken;
Proline lose the game against SC Villa by forfeiture.
Proline has been docked of six points.
Praline has also been handed a fine of 5m Ug shs for bringing the game into disrepute and this money should be paid by Wednesday 18th September, 2019.
The disciplinary committee gives Proline a chance to appeal to the decision.
