A family member to former Education Minister Geraldine Namirembe Bitamazire has dismissed reports of her death lebelling the information as inaccurate.
The family has too, since released a picture of her with her grandchildren.
The family member confirmed that Ms. Geraldine Namirembe Bitamazire is alive and not dead as widely reported on social media.
Bitamazire is the Chancellor of the Uganda Management Institute.
In a social media statement, UMI also dismissed the death reports as false.
“Hon Namirembe Bitamazire is alive,” management said.
It added: “Please ignore all and any message to the contrary.”
