Proline FC inflicted a fourth loss of the season onto Express thanks to a 2-1 come-back victory on Tuesday afternoon.

Noordin Bunjo and Mustapha Kizza struck for the visitors in identical fashion, netting via free-kicks.Express had earlier taken the lead through captain Disan Ggaliwango.

The left-back lashed onto a long ball before slotting past Hassan Matovu in the Proline goal inside the opening 20 minutes of the game. However, the home side reacted immediately as Bunjo sent a free-kick into the back of the net.

Alfred Leku could have added a second before half time but the former Red Eagles succumbed to pressure from custodian Tony Kyamera.

Edrisa Lubega also failed to beat Kyamera from a promising position but Mujuzi was on hand to save the day.

The defender blasted a free-kick into the back of the net with 7 minutes to play to complete a deserved comeback for the hosts.

It was a disappointing game for Express who have now lost four of their first 6 games of the season.

However, they had chances to at least take a point home but could not capitalize. With the game still goalless, Frank Ssenyondo lashed onto a long ball but his effort was thwarted by the on-rushing Matovu.

In the second half, Frank Kalanda header over while unmarked in the Proline 6-yard box.

For Proline, this is their second victory of the season, having earlier defeated Onduparaka 1-0 on match-day three.

Proline’s next assignment will see them hosting Busoga United on Saturday while Express will have entertained Police FC at Wankulukuku the day before.
