KCCA FC suffered to a 4-1 defeat by Paradou AC in the CAF Confederations Cup play off second leg match played on Sunday night and missed a chance to secure qualification to the tournament’s group stages.

The Kasasiros boys failed to take care of the Algerian side as they conceded an early goal although they pushed and level through Allan Okello’s only goal for Ugandan Champions on day, the Algerians continued to show that they were a class above by doubling the score to make it 2-1 by half time.

KCCA FC failed to handle their visitors well during the first leg played last Sunday at Lugogo as they were held to a 0-0 draw conceded two more goals in the second half which sealed the victory for the home team up to the end it all, as Paradou eliminated them by 4-1 goals on aggregate to book themselves a slot in this year’s Confederations cup group stages.

According to the sources KCCA FC had to lose this battle because they had only left with just 18 CAF registered players as they sold out some of them like Allan Kyambadde, Timothy Awany, Lawrence Bukenya and Patrick Kaddu, whereas Sadam Juma, Julius Poloto and others are still nursing injuries.

This was a disappointing news for Ugandan football lovers as the other representave on the continent, Proline FC had already shown exit by Libyan side Al Nasr earlier on the day as they were beaten 2-0 at home.
