KCCA FC manager Mike Mutebi has expressed his anger towards Uganda premier league Secretariat for unnecessary rescheduling of league games.

Mike claims that UPL has postponed KCCA games without being consulted and added that the KCCA have had about, five game rescheduled this season because of CAF and national team engagements.

Mutebi punched holes in small, small national team engagements like cranes Namutima . The defending champions are 10th on the log with 13 points from seven games they have played, five games less than leaders Vipers SC.

Mutebi commented that as club, they have at any one time never asked for the postponement of their games but the league board and FUFA have insisted, “UPL should stop postponing our matches with fake reasons ” Mike said.

“They should stick to doing the right things, we have 28 players, sending a few of them to the national team doesn’t mean that we don’t have to play”.

“We have enough players to do the job, We have insisted on various occasions to play some of our games including the one against Maroons, but UPL went on to postpone them.

We have a lot on our schedule at the movement and we are going to be playing catch up. “Upl got the calendar in time, but failed to plan for these clubs accordingly.

I can give you an example of about five UPL players who were summoned for AFCON qualifiers, but we all know realistically that none may go one to postpone league games because of their. KCCA games against Proline , SC Villa, Mbarara city among others were earlier postponed.

The club has however confirmed that they will have to play their fixture against police FC this Saturday despite missing about six players to the national team that will play in a regional tour friendly in Katakwi, ‘coach Mike Mutebi added.
