Mbogo High and Kibuli SS Retain National Schools Badminton Championship Titles

Mbogo high School maintained their record in girls category when they defended the National schools badminton championship title for the third consecutive year, while Kibuli SS retains that of boys.

Mbogo High defeat Hana international in the 2019 finals The three days championship ran from Friday21st June to Sunday 23, June 2019 at Lugogo Indoor stadium.

Tracy Naluwoza’s brilliant performance was a key factor for Mbogo high School’s title defend.

The side beat Hana International by 3-1 sets in the best of five.

Where else Kibuli Secondary school defeat Kakungulu Memorial 3-2 in the final to defend their title they won in 2018 at the same venue.

The results clearly indicate that Mbogo High and Kibuli SS are the schools that will represent Uganda in All Africa schools championship to be held in Lusaka Zambia in September this year.

The 2019 tournament attracted 326 participation from 42 Schools, both at primary and secondary level.
