Maroon’s striker Steven Mukwala and KCCA FC coach Mike Mutebi have been voted the Uganda premier league best player and coach of November 2019.
The duo takes home Ugshs 1m each courtesy of pilsner, Mukwala defeated Sam Ssenyonjo and Allan Okello. While Nukwala addressing the media asserted that is big achievement for him. “This is a big achievements for me, I thank my coach Douglas Bamweyana who has improved me a lot this season.
He has instilled confidence in me and given me enough playing time and I credit him so much for this”. Mukwala insisted.
Mukwala is current leading top scorer with 10 goals from 15 matches and he has managed to scored seven goals in the month of November. He also managed to be man of the match of UPL two times, ( Police and Wakiso giants).
However the contenders Senyonjo and Okello have scored three and four goals respectively. “Players have shown the right attitude, worked hard and they have done things perfectly. I commend them for adhering to what they are supposed to do .They have exemplified what they have to do in the last six or seven games” Mike Mutebi the head coach of KCCA asserted while addressing the media.
Mike guided KCCA to seven victories out of nine games they played in the the month of November.
KCCA beat Villa, Tooro, Proline, Police, Express, Vipers and Kyetume and lost to Mbarara city FC (2-1) and drew to URA.
