A JOY FOR A STORY OF A BOY WHO WANTED TO QUIT BOXING

After dominating on the on-going African boxing championship inYaounde,  Cameron,  Waswa Ssali alias Black skin proved his fellow Black Africans that he’s the real black skin. Waswa,  who storm the final after a semi-final win against DRC Idris Kitangila in the Light Weight category.If Waswa wins his next bout,  this will mean that after six years,  Bombers got gold medal after Muzamir Kakande’s gold medal in 2017 in the Welter weight.

After granted his way to the final, this describe a joy story to the boy who wanted to quit boxing due to lack of passport which had denied his chances of representing Bombers international.

Waswa,  missed a chance of representing Bombers at the same boxing tournament in 2017 in Congo Brazville after defeating Joshua Nyanzi in the National triala but later was left behind due lack of passport and in that tournament,  the Bombers got three medal including one gold medal from Muzamir Kakande and two silver medals from David Haiti and Geofrey Kakeeto.

Waswa,  also missed a chance of representing Bombers in 2018 Common Wealth games due to lack of passport and during that period after missibg that trip,  the boxer was almost giving up boxing but credit given to the late Zebra Ssenyange Mando who worked hard to convince the reigning Light weight champion in the Champions League to continue stay in boxing where he has proved Ugandans  today that he was the right person to represent the Bombers.
