In his opening remarks Mugisha Christopher, Chief Executive Officer USSSA commended Seroma Christian High School for the top notch organization the USSSA National swimming Gala that took place on July 27th 2024. It was after this event that 30 swimmers from various schools were selected to represent the country at FEASSA games in Bukedea district.

The CEO also emphasized the importance of verification and that games teachers should take it very seriously. “Let us take the verification seriously, as CEO I will look at all the albums thoroughly to ensure that each discipline has the right number of athletes entered into the system”.

The verification is ongoing at USSSA offices and accreditation for all participants and officials will be issued in Kampala and not in Bukedea as previously done during other championships.

Each team will get 2 sets of competition uniform to identify the country, especially when playing and it is a must that everyone wears them.

There will be classification games so the fixtures will clearly indicate all games from the first to the last day. All schools must ensure to honor their fixtures.

There is enough accommodation for every participant and the environment is clean.

Endeavor to have your teams’ participants appear for all event from the opening ceremony, cultural event because we are participating as Team Uganda and not Individuals.
