African women kick boxing championship title fight launched, Patrice Apolot vs Joyce Awino .

The African women kick boxing championship title fight between Joyce Awino and Patrice Apolot has been launched on Tuesday 13th August 2019 at Smile Corner Hotel Kireka-Kira Municipality .

The president of the kick boxing Federation Mr. Patrick Luyoza who officially launched the fight, urged the fighters to expect any thing in the fight not only positive results but the other way round can also happened to any one of the two. The fight is a continental title re-match fight so Patricia’s camp should work hard to retain the title.

The fight is expected to take place on 31st August 2019 at Smile Corner Hotel Kireka, and will be a kick boxing row style bout of 9 rounds , each for three minutes and one minute break.

“Patrice is born a winner and she never give up, I call  upon the fans of kick boxing in the country and beyond to come and support Apolot comeSaturday 31st August 2019 here at Smile corner hotel “, Mr. Patrick added.

While Patrice Apolot promise to put up a tough performance against Kenyan Awino to make sure she is defeated.

“This is a re-match fight, in the first onefight held in Tororo Apolot emerged victorious after she knocked out Awino in the second round.

“This time round she is the one requested for the re-match, so that means she trained well thus I must also train harder such that i to put up a great performance against her on Saturday 31st August”, Patrice cited.

“I believe in one thing, only wining, but when the Lady beats am ready to accept the defeat and let her take the title”, Patrice added.

Apolot also requested the government to build for them a national GYM for training, she thank the National council of sports for the ring they rewarded and money offered to organize the fight.

Apolot is the reigning Ugandan female champion, a title the 27-year-old international lightweight kick boxer has held for three consecutive years.

The Ugandan female boxer also holds the World Kick Boxing Federation International title that she won after putting up an exciting performance against Ivana Mirkov of Serbia in Hungary.

The female boxing sensation comes from the Eastern part of Uganda, Ngora district. Apolot started her kickboxing journey in 2009 at amateur level.

It is important to note, that Apolot is the defending champion of kick boxing in Africa, continent and in the WKF is the queen in her weight 62.8 kg, where she has never lost any fight level.
