All things are done for the bika football finals, Kkobe encounter will Mbogo to be held on Saturday 31st August 2019 at Masaka recreation ground.
The minister of sports, youth and recreation OWEK. Henry Sekabembe Kiberu promised to show the good performance by both teams because all teams are ready for the tournament, as he cited in the press conference held at Bulange today Tuesday 27th August 2019.
“All teams are ready to expose high quality football on the pitch and I call upon all the people of Kabaka from Buddu, other neighboring counties and the entire Buganda kingdom to come on Saturday to welcome Kabaka and support the final match.
It is great pleasure that the Kabaka of Buganda will be the chief guest”, Minister Henery Sekabembe insisted on the finals.
OWEK. Requested all people of the Kabaka not to remain in their shops and on the road sides to see only the Kabaka on the way but they also come in the stadium.
The gate will be open at 10:00 am. Fees 5000 and 10,000 for the VIP entrance.
The struggle will be between Kkobe, when Mbogo will looking for their third shield of the Bika football tournament despite winning the first edition in 1950.
Mpindi and Nkima will fight for the placement of the third and fourth positions and will be the open match.
Two Bulls and shs 11000000 will be awards to the best performing teams.
Mamba namakaka are the best champions of Bika football tournament with 9 sheilds in the 69 years of existence as the Nkima are the current champions of the tournament.
On other side, Bika Netball gala has been held on Wednesday 28th August 2019 at Mendela national stadium Namboole and then the finalist will play their finals also on Saturday at Masaka recreation ground.
