Having played and successfully finish Bika Netball championship, Bika Football championship is at finishing line where Mpindi clan will take on Ngabi Nsamba clan on Saturday 8 June 2024 at Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku.
Like last year’s bika championship final, His Majesty Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II has been confirmed not to the event due health problems. In the absence of the King the final game is expected to kick off at exactly 3 pm following a third place classification match between Nkima and Omutima Omusagi that will commence at exactly 12pm.
The preparations for the final have been settled with the security agencies meeting held today, Friday June 7th the Stadium premises in Wankulukuku where Minister Of Youth Sports, Talents and recreation in Buganda Government, Salongo Sserwanga issued a brief message to the King’s subjects.
“We have looked at every thing that can guide us to a great final, the teams are ready and all service providers on the day including Security are good to go, “we are only waiting for the fans, “the gates shall be open at 9:00am and I urge the fans to come in numbers, we have had a very competitive edition.”Salongo Sserwanga siaid.
This year’s edition has seen 77 games already, involving 39 Clan teams that have produce 150 goals with both last year’s champion, Ngonge and finalist, Mbogo knocked out at Quarterfinal stage.
