All set for Saturday’s 2023 Airtel Bika By’Abaganda Football, Netball Finals

The new Buganda minister for youth and sports Ssalongo Robert Sserwanga promised Ugandans a good final and Urged fans to gather more to welcome his majesty the Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II. This will be the first sporting final event under the new minister Owek. Sserwanga since he replaced Owek. Henry Ssekambembe Kuberu few weeks age.

Owek. Robert Sserwanga,  went on to say that,  security is tight and what is await is the fans to come and support their clans.

According to sports minister,  the gates will be opened at exactly 8am. The games expected to kick off  at 11am with a third place play off game in netball and football,  at 1pm,  the final game in netball between defending champion Ngeye and Nyonyi Nyange will kick off and at 2pm his majesty the Kabaka will arrive at the Stadium, then at exactly 3pm the football final between Mbogo and N’gonge kickoff.

Sulaiman Magala,  chairman of the Bika tournament organising committee has urged Baganda and Ugandans at large to come in big number to welcome the Kabaka and give support to their teams.

Brian Kayanja,  Mbogo captain,  said that they are just waiting for tomorrow Saturday to lift the shield because their opponent is not used to this stage and situation.

While Haji Ssemwanga Kabogoza,  sports minister N’gonge clan,  said that their strength is being underrated as it has been since group stages but surprisingly the the boys have beaten everyone to reach the final.

Mbogo will play without their main striker Yunus Ssentamu,  who will be on Caf champions league duty for his club Vipers SC on the same day.

The fan needs 10, 000 for ordinary ticket or 20, 000 VIP ticket to access the venue of Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku.
