Business man also NRM’s Katumba William has urged all party members who were defeated in the recent just concluded party primaries not to be attempted to come back as independent.
Katumbala William is one of NRM party’s cadres and delegates who also elects party central executive committee (CEC) members, who wants all those who were lost in party primaries to allow defeat as a sign of unity and democracy within the party.
He says despite various challenges experienced prior, during and after elections, but all went successful and whoever has any complaint should go to courts of law.
“This is a party with constitution and democracy whereby every individual is not free and allowed to do what he/she wants, each and every body who lost should allow defeat , and give support to flag bearers, he said.
“Some of the party members who lost in primaries say they are to come as independent insisting that, elections were unfair and full of violence such as Semeo Nsubuga of Kassanda north, Brian Tindyebwa of Lubaga north among others.Some of NRM party members condemn party chairman also president of the republic of Uganda General Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who directed members who were not in the party voter’s register to also vote saying, this is one of the reasons that led their downfall.
Remember some elections were called off due to violence and conflicts like that of Mawogola West and East in Ssembabule district, Bukono county in Namutumba district among others.
