Allan Kabonge replaces Hassan Mubiru at Katwe utd FC head coach role

The newly promoted Fufa Big League side Katwe utd Fc has on Tuesday morning announced the sacking of their head coach and his replacement.

Katwe United FC have Tuesday parted ways with Head Coach, Hassan Mubiru on mutual consent.

This has come few hours after the team suffered a 4-1 humiliating home defeat by Dove All Stars FC on Tuesday 28th October.

And therafter Katwe utd also announced the acquisition of experienced Coach, Allan Kabonge Kivewala Ponsiano alias Messiah as our new Head Coach.

Kabonge, a CAF ‘C’ licenced holder, comes with a vast experience, having guided over four Clubs to being elevated into the Country’s top flight.

At Katwe United FC, the new coach will be assisted by coaches Ismael Kintu and Mukasa Mike.

In line with our main objective of playing in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League next season, Kabonge has been tasked to direct his efforts towards achieving that objective.

The 35 year has an experienced Big League expert who has previously guided Paidha Black Angels ,Aroum Roses, Onduparaka , Masavu FC and Kyetume FC.

He has had most of his coaching career in the Buganda Masaza Cup with sides like

-Busiro
-Buwekula
-Combat

Other Clubs he has coached:

-Lira United
-Entebbe Football Club
-Uganda Red Cross
-Aroum Roses
-L.Victoria Soccer Academy.

He is memorably remembered for guiding his Mmamba clan to win the 2014 Bika Football Competition trophy alongside Nsubuga Cyrus.

Katwe utd has two away games this week against Bukedea TC and MYDA FC on Thursday at Njeru and Saturday At Mbale respectively.
