The Archbishop of the church of Uganda Dr. Samuel Steven Kazimba Mugalu joined the former Provincial head of Laity Dr. Nathan Kalema and his family when he was celebrating his 77th birthday.
During the function that took place in Mbarara, the Archbishop said; I joined the family of Dr. Nathan Karema in Mbarara, Ankole Diocese to thank God for his 77 years of fruitful living. Dr. Karema was once the Provincial Head of Laity for Church of Uganda and continues to serve God and the Church in many ways.
“I have known Dr. Karema for over 20 years. During his tenure as the Provincial Head of Laity, he visited all Dioceses including Mityana Diocese where I was the Bishop. He advocated for Christians being rooted in their faith and development.” He added
He appreciated Bishop Associate Prof. Fred Sheldon Mwesigwa the Bishop of Ankole Diocese and other Bishops; Nathan Ahimbisibwe (South Ankole), Dan Zoreka (Kinkiizi), Amos Magezi (North West Ankole) and Johnson Twinomujuni (West Ankole), Clergy and all friends of Dr. Karema for joining him in this worthy celebration.
