in a statement posted on FUFA X handle on today Saturday December 9th evening shows the The Referees Disciplinary Panel (RDP) has suspended Mr. Juma Osire for six months.

Osire was the first assistant referee in Match No.76 of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League between Vipers SC Vs Kitara FC at St. Mary’s Stadium.

In the 1st minute of additional time after the 90 minutes, Kitara FC scored a goal which was controversially disallowed by the first assistant referee, Juma Osire for an offside.

However, it appeared from the video footage of the incident that none of the players from Kitara FC were in an offside position.

Osire is therefore suspended from officiating football at all levels for six months that comes into force immediately.

Following his repeated pattern of behavior, Mr. Osire Juma is forwarded to the Investigatory Chamber of the FUFA Ethics and Disciplinary Committee for further investigation.
