Fahad Bayo of Sports club Vipers won the best player of the month of September after putting better performance on their team in September.
Bayo Fahad played five matches and managed to score three goals and made three assists.
Bayo were in the battle with three players, David owori of SC villa who also managed to put better performance on his team and Steven Mukwala of Maroons football club.
While Bayo addressing the media at Kati Kati restaurant Lugogo, he promised to continue to work had retain it for another time because the team has the following goals to be fulfilled this time.
“Am very happy to be here as the player of the month and I am going to continued to take it because this not my first time to take this awards because even I was still in Zambia I managed to take it.
We as Vipers we have goals to fulfill this season and targeting to take the trophy of this season”.
However, in the best coach of the month September, Douglas Bamweyana of Maroons football club take the award, after defeating Edward Kaziba of Sports club Villa.
The former SC Villa coach, Douglas Bamweyana managed to attain three wins, one draw and one loss against URA Football club, while Edward Kaziba of S C Villa also managed to win three games, one draw and one loss from Kyetume Football club.
“This is not my personal awards because we work as team management and technical team. As a team we try to keep it on Maroons and we promising to make it again” Bamweyana asserted this ,while addressing the media.
Banweyana also thank the pilsner to organise this awards because they motivate them and help them to increase their performance.
Five matches are considered since the start of the season.
The winners get ugshs 1000,0000 each.
