The minister for culture, palace and security in Buganda kingdom Owek. Antony Wamala has challenged Buganda beauty queens not only to consider the external beauty that they have but to make sure that they are well disciplined so that they find life easy for them wherever they go.

The beauty queens he met include Nabakungulu Vanesa Hannah from Buddu, Jemimah Sanyu from Buluuli, Sanyu Ruth Mugabi from Kyadondo and Nansukusa Ester from Kabula.

While meeting the beauty queens in his office in Bulage Mengo, Owek.  Antony Wamala noted that beauty which is not accompanied with discipline does not benefit people as discipline is the key to every successful person in life.

He warned them to avoid being misled by their beauty which can lead them fall into the trap of being used by people with different intentions who may end up destroying their lives.

The beauty queens presented to the minister the projects they plan to do as a way of making buganda shine, such as the youth and adult kisakaate project, Art Gallery project, lambula Buganda project, Kabaka’s lake project, among others, which they plan to add onto the ministry of culture to spear head the move to promote culture among the youth.

One of beauty queens Nansukusa Ester noted that the youth and adults behaviour is currently detoriating day after day which has led to marriages breakages and single motherhood. She thinks the adult and youth Kisakaate will help shape the youth and adults behaviour to avoid more conflicts.

Another beauty queen Nabakungulu Vanessa Hannah mentioned that the reason they have met the minister is to inform him about the projects they want to come up with and find means of working with the ministry to see the projects move.
