BIG STRIKERS IN LUWEERO AS RATIB MUWONGE TAKES ON SOUTH AFRICAN OPPENENT

The launch for the show time championship boxing organised by Big Strikers International which was held at Sam Buchana (Big Strikers Intl chairman) residence,  Muyenga,  Bukasa started with a minute of silence for our fellow journalist James Mayanja , who was working with Delta Tv after getting the sad news of his passing away.

The show time championship which is organised by Big Strikers is scheduled for 15,  December,  2023 at Kasana Luweero Recreation Ground and will feature six bouts with Ratib Muwonge a.k.a Dancing Master taking on South African Price Diomo in Super light weight, 8 rounds in the main fight.

Other bouts of the day include,  Ugandan Junju Power taking on Tanzanian Mussa Omar Nassor in the Welter weight WABA Intercontinental 10 rounds,  Iginusias Onyango ( Uganda) taking on Shabani Kaoneka (Tanzania) in cruiser weight WABA African Championship 10 rounds,  Justin Okello (Uganda) vs Vincent Ouma (Kenya) in Welter weight 8 rounds,  Mukibi Faizo in Super feather weight anf Ronald Duku in heavy weight,  their opponents have not yet confirmed.

During the launch,  Big Strikers chairman,  Sam Buchana signed more two boxers,  Iginusias Onyango and Junju Power to their company for the five year contract .

Buchana,  adressed the press why this time he decided to take the fight to Lueeero, “I was born in Luweero and Kampala had so many fights organised,  so this time we are in Luweero”,  chairman states.

Robert Waswa,  who is the media coordinator for Big Strikers,  argue fans especially from Luweero to come in big numbers.

Tadeo Waswa Ziritwawula,  who is the chairman for Bulemeezi FC also attended the launch and argue all people in Luweero area to come in big numbers.

Ratib Muwonge,  who is the national and African Super Light weight champion said that this era belongs to him, so he will stop any one who comes across his way.
