Bishop Kagodo warns students not to take vocational studies for granted

The 5th Bishop of Mukono Diocese, The Rt. Rev. Enos Kitto Kagodo arged students of YMCA college, Nassuuti Archdeaconry in Mukono Diocese to take Vocational skills training as a major factor in life that will take them far.

During his Pastoral visit and thanksgiving Service at YMCA College in Mukono Diocese, Bishop Kagodo noted that vocational studies can highly help students to succeed in life as it trains more job creators than job seekers.

He also encouraged students to endeavor adding value to themselves so that they can be able to compete in an organised world.

Bishop Kagodo also appealed to people never to fight their own battles but to let God intervene in their lives and warned teenagers to be careful and never to fall in the teenage age traps.

The principal of this college Mukasa Kasajja Paul, appreciated the church for donating the land where this college was constructed, and called for more support especially with space so that they can be able to expand.

The Executive Director of YMCA colleges in Uganda Rosette Birungi Ssebaleke noted that they are struggling to see that they can embark on the enrollment of the boys training skills in the college much as they have concentrated in training courses for girls. She revealed that they are yet to start degree courses in their institution.

The Chairperson Board of Governors Johnson Muyanja Senyonga commended tutors for the responsibilities they take in this college.
