Bishop Lawrence Mukasa led his first Sunday service at the home of Luweero Diocese

The New Bishop of Luwero Diocese Rt. Rev Lawrence Mukasa has started his service, preaching the gospel to the people of Luwero at Kasana Luwero cathedral in his first service.

The Bishop started by extending his gratitude towards the Christians for the warm welcome they showed him when he arrived in the diocese.

While preaching, Bishop Lawrence asked believers always to stand firm and work together to protect the church during the times of trials and tribulations.

Bishop Lawrence also encouraged christians  to be prepared for whatever comes their way, siting different challenges that may attack the church, so that they can overcome them together.

The Bishop commended the Christians of Luwero diocese, for standing together to mantain luwero diocese ever since the then Bishop, now the Archbishop of Kampala diocese Paul Semwogerere was transferred from Luwero Diocese to kampala.

However, Bishop Lawrence appealed to believers in Luwero diocese to work together with him during his service, so that they can mantain and develop the diocese.

He asked them to move together with him during his service and pledged to move with the church through out the challenges they may face.

He continues to dedicate the Anglican church in Luwero Diocese to overcome the challenges they are going through sothat they also get a new Bishop for the diocese.

Christians in this church donated gifts to the Bishop as a way of welcoming him.
