Kyadondo East MP, Robert Kyagulanyi who last year announced he will run for president in the 2021 elections has said there’s nothing to talk about between him and First Son Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba unless there is a clear solution on state harassment meted on his People Power supporters.

Mr. Kyagulanyi commonly known as Bobi Wine while appearing on NBS Television’s Morning Breeze said he expects Gen. Muhoozi to tweet about the death of all the people who have been killed than calling out police for the pelting of bottles at an artiste.

Gen. Kainerugaba who works as a senior presidential advisor under his father, last week castigated police leadership for not protecting singer Bebe Cool as he got pelted with urine bottles at a recent concert in Kampala.

Bobi Wine responded “I expect the presidential advisor to take a point in what matters first.”

He asked him to interest himself in talking about all those unresolved deaths of People Power supporters.

Asked whether he would meet Gen Muhoozi for suggested talks, Bobi Wine said:

“What is there for me to talk with Muhoozi when his father is stepping on my neck?”

Bobi Wine said it is important to have good ground for conversation but “let them stop killing Ugandans and stepping on my neck.”

Quoting former South African President Nelson Mandela, Bobi Wine said, only free men can negotiate.

“Historically, Gen Muhoozi and his father behave like that. They had come to take my life in Arua, but unfortunately, they took that of Yasin Kawuma.”

On his blocked consultative meetings, Bobi Wine said that People Power can’t be stopped because “w move in different ways.”

“The security forces have repeatedly disrespected us even when we have followed the law,” he said “but, I am convinced we can win this election.”

“I know it will not be free and fair but we are the majority. We are reaching millions of people, that is why the regime is panicking.”

He so welcome the new contender Gen Henry Tumukunde to the struggle to “free Uganda.”

He said that “it does not matter whether we are a thousand contenders, what matters is that the people free Uganda together.”
