The Uganda Boxing Federation announced a team of eight Bombers and two officials that will represent Uganda in the All Africa games.
While announcing the team at Lugogo, Moses Muhangi the UBF President called upon the Boxers to put up spirited performance at the championship.
Bombers coach Medie is optimistic ahead of the 12th All Africa Games.
The All Africa games will take place from 19th to 31st August in the city of Rabat, Morocco.
He very confident of the Boxers named on the team to represent Uganda at the event
” We have been training the boys for three good weeks, this will help them during the championship.
We have a great team that i believe has the capacity to rise the Ugandan flag,” Coach Medie added.
The Uganda Boxing national team ( the Bombers) will be represented by eight Boxers, in both women and men’s category, six men and two ladies.
The team will be under the stewardship of coach Meddie Hassan Mulandi who will be assisted by Mercy Mukankusi.

Bantam(56Kg) Masembe Isaac
Light weight (60) Tukamuhebwa Joshua
Super heavy weight (91kg) Geko Solomon
Welterweight (69) Shadir Musa Bwogi(Captain)
Middle weight (75) Kavuma David Semujju.
Women
Baleke Hellen(Middle weight 75kg) and Nalia Jalia (Bantam)
