The Wakiso region secondary schools football boys defending champions, Buddo SS, St. Julian High School are still in perfect form as they maintain a 100% record in the ongoing NPP football boys competitions hosted at Kisubi Mapeera in Entebbe ZONE as per the day two of the tournament.
Buddo SS started the with a game against fell Nsangi zonemates Madinah Islamic which managed to overcome by 2-0, later beat Nansana Zone runners up, Green Light High.
Whereas, St. Julian High kicked the day with a 1-0 win over Kyadondo SS and a 3-0 win over hosts Kisubi Mapeera to qualify for the finals where they will face Kawempe Royal College.
Meanwhile, National record holders, St. Mary’s Kitende suffered slit goalless draw with unknown Abu Aish before securing a narrow 1-0 win over Aidan College.
London College Nansana and Standard High Zzana are also hope full of qualifying to knock out stages.
The championship will go on upto Saturday 1, April when
Wakisssa Sports Committee headed by Katamba Gerrald will crown the champions and announcing the 2023 Wikiso region nation championship representatives
