Buganda Cup: Injured goalkeeper Ssebaggala’s brilliant saves send Kawanda SS to the finals

The team, Kawanda SS advernses to the final of Buganga Cup Boys Football after winning their semifinal clash against on form Greenlight SS Nansana 4-3 on penalties. Following a goal less draw, Kawanda SS benefitted from goalkeeper Richard Ssebaggala who played with serious head injury sustained in first half of the game.

Despite Ssebaggala managed to keep a clean sheet making some presency actions to uncomfort Greenlight’s forwards and then saves two penalty out of the 5 he faced.

Shakur Ngoobi and captain Henry Egesa Junior are the players that failed to beat Ssebaggala’s eye while Denis Wadoya, Sudais Mulinda and Henry Talemwa was on target with their spots.

On Kawanda SS side was just brilliant penalty takers and Goalkeeper Paul Makumbi got zero chance of at least knowing the penalty direction.
Hassan Ssenoga, Deograsious Ariet Ssesanga Steven and Ronin Ssekidde were all on target.

Kawanda SS who passed Kajjansi Progressive at round of 16 by 2-0 at Kawanda SS defeated Mengo SS at Kawanda research Center 1-0 scored by Deogracious Ariet before returning to their campus for Semifinal.

Kawanda will face Uganda Martyrs Lubaga who beaten St Janan Luwum in Semifinal by a 1-0 with Emmanuel Eneka getting his name on score sheet.

The final shall take place on Saturday 16th March at Kawanda SS on a busy day of different sports disciplines search as Girls football, Handball, Netball volleyball football boys Primary and secondary with Owekitiibwa Patrick Luwagga Mugumbule the Speaker of Olukiiko (Buganda Parliament gracing the event as Chief guest.
