Buganda Kingdom mourns Owek. Haji Ibrahim Sseguya

The Kabaka of Buganda His Majesty Ronald Muwenda Mutebi the II has extended condolences to the family of the the late Owek Haji Ibrahim Seguya, a member of the Buganda great Lukiiko who died of cancer from Kibuli hospital.

In His message which was read by the first Deputy Katikkiro Owek Haji Twaha Kawaase during the burial, His Majesty commended Owek Ibrahim Seguya for serving his kingdom whole heartedly.

During the service held at Kibuli Mosque, the Buganda Premier Owek Charles Peter Mayiga noted that Owek Haji Ibrahim Seguya was a good example to others and listened to people above him with respect.

Owek Mayiga arged the youth to emulate respectful and honest leaders so that they can move in their footprints.

Prince Doctor Kasimu Nakibinge revealed that the late Ibrahim Seguya has spear headed more development projects for the Muslim fraternity such as schools and Kibuli hospital. However Prince Kasimu Nakibinge expressed dessatisfaction over the procedures to be followed while evicting land grabbers which has greatly hindered development in the Muslim fraternity.

The service was attended by Prince Kasimu Nakibinge, Prince Khalifan Kakungulu, Katikkiro Owek Charles Peter Mayiga, the first Deputy Katikkiro Owek Haji Twaha Kawaase, Buganda Lukiiko Speaker Owek Patrick Luwagga Mugumbule and his Deputy Owek Ahmed Lwasa, Owek Marian Mayanja Nkalubo, among others.
