Buganda Kingdom opens a one day health camp

Buganda kingdom has officially opened an health camp with an aim of educating its workers and other people on the importance of doing health check ups and health insurance, to maintain their health.

The health camp has been speared headed by the Buganda kingdom partner Werinde insurance company and case medical cure at Bulange Mengo.

While opening this camp on behalf of the Katikkiro of Buganda, the speaker of Buganda cabinet Owek Patrick Luwaga Mugumbule has commended the kingdom for this initiative and arged people to endavour monitoring their health through check up. He adds that this will help them manage their health for the good of their bodies and families.

Owek. Mugumbule has noted that he has maintained his health at his old age because he does routine check ups and does body exercises which has kept him healthy, and made his body resistant to illnesses. He has argued people to keep exercising.

The permanent Secretary in the office of the Katikkiro Josephine Nantege has commended the kingdom for caring about its employees and encouraged them to use every opportunity that comes for the good of their health.

She challenged people to avoid self medication without the Doctors prescriptions, which in the long run affect their health leading to health complications, arguing them to visit medical centres for better health check ups

In the same way, the health minister in Buganda Kingdom Owek Prosperous Nankindu Kavuma has cautioned the kingdom employees to make their health first priorities as health is key for a better life.

Owek Nankindu said that being healthy should start with an individual, followed by their families as it helps people to reduce on the costs of treatment bills towards careless illnesses.

The Director Werinde Insurance Company Jane Ssensuwa has cautioned  people who wait for the illness to weaken their bodies for them to go for treatment and at times they go when it’s too late to be cured. Werinde insurance and Case medical centre started with educating people on the importance of medical insurance and body health management, then went on with checkups
