Among the issues to be focused on by the kingdom leaders in working for the Kingdom development, the Katikkiro noted some of the issues to be considered especially during this time when the kingdom is transforming from the Project to the program system, such as strengthening the kingdom culture and norms, strengthening the spirit of love for the kingdom so that they get more partnerships for the kingdom development without being misled, making sure that they put His Majesty’s directives into practice, regulating the running of work in different kingdom departments.

He also noted development of people in the kingdom by finding out wherever they are and what they go through, making sure that Buganda kingdom programs get to the kingdom people for the benefit of their wellbeing, following up on how the kingdom people benefit from the central government’s development programs, bringing the central government programs to the people in the kingdom, strengthening Buganda’s voice and interests in Uganda through encouraging Buganda people to engage in competitive leadership in the country among others.
