Alex Isabirye’s Coached Side BUL fc hope for a Startimes premier League double as they Visit UPDF fc for the first time since 2017/2018 on Tuesday 21st February at Bombo Barracks Grounds.

The Eastern giants started the Second round with a draw after they were held to a One all draw by Blacks power at Fufa Technical Center Njeru.

Therefore against UPDF, they will hope for their 1st win of the 2nd round in order to keep pace with table leaders KCCA fc.

UPDF fc will be highly boosted as they welcome Okello Donato who missed the last two games against Bunyaruguru United and Express fc in the Uganda cup.

Pius Kagwa and kyeyune Abasi are Still out with injuries while Goal keeper Martin Senkooto is ruled out due to licence issues.

Shafik Magogo, Rogers Mugisha and Samson kigozi are with the Uganda Hippos(U20) in Egypt.

On the other hand BUL fc, will be with out goal keeper Emanuel Kalyowa and Captain George Kasonko because of injuries.

Douglas Muganga is also ruled out due to yellow Cards accumulation as well as Pascal Ngobi and Reagan Kalyowa who are all injured.

However Coming in this game, BUL fc will be wary about the poor form at UPDF having won just once in their last 5 outings at Bombo Barracks Grounds.

Infact, BUL fc’s last away win against UPDF at Bombo was 3-0 in 2018.

Speaking to the Club’s ah ahead of the game, BUL fc head Coach Alex Isabirye is aware of UPDF ‘s position on the log but anticipates a difficult encounter.

“I know there going to put up a very good fight,” Isabirye said.

“But we are looking to see that we get all the three points, I know the game won’t be easy but we are ready and I think we shall win it”.

UPDF fc are looking for their 3rd home Victory and will bank on their home record against BUL fc having won three and lost twice.

BUL fc won the last Meeting with the army side 3-1 Coutersy of Richard Wandyaka, Frank Kalanda and Karim Ndugwa while Ibrahim Magandaazi scored for UPDF.

UPDF are 13th on the log with with 11points after 15 matches and BUL fc are 2nd on log with 28points after 15games.
