Bujumbura, Burundi 0-3 Uganda CHAN 2020 qulifiers.
Uganda Cranes has today defeated Burundi 3-0 to Step a first foot into Ghana 2020 CHAN final tournament with 90% changes.
Uganda led at half time through Vianny Ssekajigo’s 12 minute goal and Mutyaba Muzamir doubled the lead in second half before Mustafa Kizza sealed it with a third goal of the day for the visitors to celebrate a 3-0 away win.
Burundi who eliminated South Sudan in the first round of qualifiers looked liked they were not prepared for the game as they could always allow opponents to cross in balls into their 18 yard area winch created a lot of defensive problems.
Burundi will now travel to Uganda in a two weeks time for the return leg match with deficit of three away goals to score if they are to overturn the result for them to qualify for the final tournament , whereas Uganda looks safer and have qualified for their fifth conservative tournament.
