The Busoga bassed school wins back the boys cricket week after defeating St John High School Mukono by 65 runs.
This is the 18th trophy at this tournament which makes them the most successful team followed by Kololo SS with 9.
The Uganda cricket Association marked the tournament as the most impresing tournament out of those they ever organised as the CEO Ondeke Martin say “this tournament we have seen boys mastering to score as many runs, We have never seen most number of runs scored as of this years Boys Cricket week, it is good for the future of Uganda’s Cricket”
After Busoga Collage Mwiri claiming the 2019 Boys Cricket week they retained their top ranking slot of those schools which took part in the tournament.
St Johns in second place followed by Mukono perants in third.
In the tournament which started on Monday 26th August the organiser has selected Cyrus Kakuru of Busoga College Mwiri as the Best wicket keeper, Edwin Nuwagaba of St John as the Best fielder, Geofrey Kakaire of Masaka SS as best Bowler and best Batsman Ronald Opio of Busaga Collage Mwiri as his team mate Hassan Magumba picking up the best player of the tournament award.
Also UCA selected 20 players from the tournament for camp training at Lugogo Cricket Oval and those players are:.
