The special dinner for the preparations of the wedding of Kyabazinga of Busoga William Gabula Nadyope the IV is set to be celebrated as a show case for Busoga culture and fundraising for the big wedding.
This dinner is to take place at Kololo on 27th October 2023 and Basoga from different parts of the country are expected to attend in a bid to bring out the true picture of the love and honour of their kingdom.
The spokesperson for the wedding preparations committee Justine Kasule Lumumba noted that Busoga kingdom has gone through different challenges for a long time, therefore this dinner is a chance to bring them together and ponder about their kingdom as well as discussing the kingdom issues and their culture.
She added that this dinner is as well to give them chance to showcase their cultural instruments and the cultural food that the kingdom uses as a way of attracting people towards the kingdom food.
Ahead of the big day, another function is to be held on 28th October 2023 at St. Mulumba village, Mayuge town council while officially bidding farewell to the Ihnebantu Mutesi, preparing her for the wedding.
The wedding for the Kyabazinga of Busoga William Gabula Nadyope the IV and Inebantu Jovia Mutesi is to take place on 18th November 2023 in Bugembe Christ’s Cathedral in Jinja North city division.
