Busoga United Starts FUFA Big league campaign with tough visit to Kataka.

The FUFA Big League 2024-25 Season officially kicks off on Sunday 6th-October with six games.
Busoga United who were relegated from the Uganda Premier League last season start away from home against Kataka FC at Mbale Municipal Stadium,

Their head coach Eric Ndifuna has revealed that his team are eyeing nothing but an immidiate return to the topflight.

“All the players are in a very good shape and I believe the 20 man squad selected will do the job tomorrow and we come back victor.”

“My season target is guiding the team back to the top flight.”

Ndifuna has Isaac Balyejusa as his assistant, Ramathan Kagawa and Bright Dhaira are the goalkeepers coach.

For starters, Busoga United was officially handed over to Busoga community by the former owners.

His Royal Highnesses the Kyabazinga of Busoga William Wilberfore Kadumbula Nadiope IV is the patron.

Hajji Abubakar Walubi is the chairman and Diana Hope Nyago is the vice chairperson
