Butambala replaces banned Mustafah Kayinda  with Ssenkaali

Upon the decision of Masaza cup organising committee and Buganda ministry of youth, Sports and arts to ban Mustafa Kayinda and His assistant Hood Mayanja.

Butambala teams committee led Musa Lubega have decided to appoint Eddie Ssenkaali as the head coach of the team to the end of the season.

Kayinda was charged for taking off his team from the playground during a match where Butambala lost 1-0 to Buddu.

The action which to not taken by Buganda sports arm as they come into a decision to ban Kayinda from Masaza cup competition for the remaining part of the season and 2025 Masaza cup season.

On same note Kayinda’s assistant Hood Mayanja received a heavier punishment of 2 years from the competition also for his behaviours during the same match.

Kayinda and his assistant are not the only suspended coaches, their compatriots Simon Dungu Dunga of Buddu and Felix Ssekabuza of Buweekula also got handed a match ban with fines

While talking to this website Butambala team Chairman Musa Lubega said “with immediate effect we have appointed coach Eddie Ssenkaali to take us through the remaining games as we see what will happen next”

Butambala is hosting Bululi tomorrow Saturday 24 August July at Kibibi play ground as they keep chasing their stay in the competition with a win sought to have a big impact.
