KCCA FC 2-2 Green Eagles
(KCCA win 4-3 Extra time)
KCCA have defeated Green Eagles in a close contest semi final match played at Stade Régional de Nyamirambo (Kigali).
The Uganda Premier League champions needed extra time to edge a seven goal thriller and reach the 2019 CECAFA Kagame Cup finals.
Allan Okello scored a brace, a goal from each half in 2″ and 80″, but latter was an leveled by Shamende’s brace in 37″ and 53″ to send the game in extra time after a 2-2 all draw.
Mike Mutyaba 98″and Sadat Anaku 101″goals to make it 4-2 for KCCA, despite a late surge from the Zambian side when Chola scored a 118″ goal to pressurize Mike Mutebi’s troops, but held on to the last whistle to win it 4-3.
KCCA FC will now face the winner between defending champions Azam FC and DR Congo’s AS Maniema who play their semi final game later this evening.
