Uganda U18 Women’s Championship extended their perfect start at the 2023 CECAFA U18 Women’s Championship, securing a second win in as many games.

It should be noted that Uganda had nicked a hard fought 1-0 win against Ethiopia.

In today’s game, Brenda Munyana, Agnes Nabukenya and captain Phiona Nabulime scored a goal each to guide the team to victory.

The first half had limited scoring opportunities but the team improved a lot after recess after the coach making some changes.

Allen Nassazi, Patricia Naiga and Monica Nannono all came in after the break.

The breakthrough came in the 63rd minute with Munyana firing home from close range.

Two minutes later, Nabukenya doubled the lead before captain Nabulime put the icing on the cake with a strike from the spot.
